As you can see, the bush beans are progressing nicely. No more greens either. I cut those all down yesterday. The bugs n slugs got to them. The rhubarb is growing like crazy. Should have some beans to harvest in about a month. Also thought that you would like to see these, mom. I figured you would like the color.

Jardin de Sommers
So, we call this phase one. I went out and bought some organic harvest mix. its got chicken doodie in it. Anyways, thought it would be better to break up the clay and rock and make the soil more rich. Jardin de Sommers was spared a full tilling. Instead, we just weeded and tilled up around the plants. As you can see everything is growing very healthy. So healthy that the bugs love the plants too. Also you will notice that one of the stalks from the chard plant has fallen. ITS SUPER CHARD PLANT. Thought I would see how big it would grow, but its starting to fall from its own weight. I will go out and buy some support poles for it this weekend and prune some of the leaves off. About a month ago, something came into the back yard and picked all the strawberries (ALL). Then, whatever it was managed to knock down one of the herb bushes and a stalk from the chard. I don't remember the name of the herb bush, but its the bush nearest the strawberry patch. You can see that I propped it back up with some string. So, phase two will be to put in a couple of more bags of harvest mix to cut the soil up some more. Its still really rocky. Prune, harvest, trim the vegetation and eventually reinforce the wall around the garden. The front yard is another story.
