Bush Beans continued

As you can see, the bush beans are progressing nicely. No more greens either. I cut those all down yesterday. The bugs n slugs got to them. The rhubarb is growing like crazy. Should have some beans to harvest in about a month. Also thought that you would like to see these, mom. I figured you would like the color.

WHAT'S THIS?!?!?!?!

Well, so far so good. Here are three of them coming. I think I counted 10 of them poking out today. By the way, Mrs.Hutton is the big winner (fanfare!!!). These beans are stringless bush beans. It will be interesting to see how they grow, since I planted the rows a bit closer than what is recommended...more to come...I'm gonna go pat myself on the back some more now :)

Weeded

WEEDED!!!! After an afternoon of weeding and several bags of bark mulch later, the front yard has been weeded. I still need to buy some more bark mulch to cover the area between the Tiki man and the rocks, but other than that, she finished!!!
