bye bye chard


just planted some green beans here

chop chop and bye bye to the chard and hello three rows of green beans

now its on to weeding the lavender garden. I am thinking about planting some jasmine in there too. Also, it might be time to start on the dreaded brush pile..... (da da dummmmmm!!!!!)

i'm sure you are aware you gonna need to put in place some contraption for the green bean vines to grow up. I would use the bamboo behind the garage. It also might be a little late in the season. I'll make a farmer out of you yet boy.

i think that i still might be able to get one harvest out of them. package said to wait till the soil is above 60. i think we are out of that season now. will find out in about 50 days.

if the beans are bush type you will not need to stake them.
Also, it is possible that Larry can bring the dump trailer in when he will be doing some electrical work in West Seattle. But it won't be until sometime in September. (for the yard waste pile that is getting pretty high)

yeah, its getting pretty high a fire hazard. I might be able to get the pile out of there before then though. But definitely will keep Larry's dump trailer in mind.
